Since 2009 the CASH Campaign has helped to create coalitions to bring together different local organizations under one common goal – advancing the financial well-being of Maryland residents.
Financial Education Partnership of Washington County
Offers FREE Financial Education Classes to a broad spectrum of Washington County residents, including low-moderate income households, the unemployed and homeless, as well as those who are employed but facing financial difficulty. Each class is fun, interactive and full of information for anyone interested in learning how to plan, set financial goals, save more and spend less.
Frederick Coalition for Financial Success
Provides a continuum of resources to help individuals understand, manage and improve their personal financial stability. The Coalition collaborates to coordinate activities and services to fill gaps and enhance existing resources.
CAFE (Coalition for the Advancement of Financial Education) Montgomery MD
Engages community partners and volunteers in advocacy to promote policies that advance the financial well-being of all Montgomery County residents, especially the most vulnerable. The Coalition’s purpose is to promote and deliver high quality financial education to county residents of all ages, communities and ethnic groups. Their goal is to provide the necessary tools for making informed decisions about saving, spending, borrowing, and managing credit.
Prince George’s CASH Campaign
Seeks to expand the financial capability of county residents by increasing access to free tax preparation, financial education, and banking and savings opportunities within Prince George’s County.
Annapolis/Anne Arundel Financial Education Coalition
AAAFEC is a group of nonprofits, businesses, and interested individuals dedicated to improving the economic success of people in our community by providing high quality financial education services. They believe that by working together, they can more effectively raise awareness about the need for financial education, and more efficiently deliver a full spectrum of programs to all residents in Annapolis/Anne Arundel County.
