Navigators help people make the most of tax time by encouraging them to use part of their refund toward their financial security. Because of valuable tax credits available for working families, tax refunds can make up a sizable portion of a CASH client’s income. Navigators’ responsibilities include:  Welcoming clients to tax sites and assist with the intake process, listen to the needs of clients and offer pertinent information about available financial resources and services, connect clients to financial products and services (e.g., credit counseling, legal assistance), promote enrollment in safe and affordable financial products, and support clients in saving their tax refunds.

Sign-up to become a Community Resource Navigator by completing this registration form. You can take our online training and ethics certification at your convenience virtually once you register! Then you are on your way to volunteering as a Community Resource Navigator!
